I have been since...A week and a half after the last post. (Before Baba O'Reiley) Working in a call center, while a fine job and a wonderful opportunity, was not my bag, babies. My bag is making and delivering pizzas. I think. There's a local concern that makes and distributes computers and computer-related thingamobobbers. I might be sending in my resume.

I'm fairly happy at Domino's. I've worked out my problems with management, and they retaliated by making me a shift runner/team leader/guy a lot of people look to for answers. Plus, I get tips.

I got some new shoes yesterday, as my old ones were highly rank.

In other news, I just got a starter and 3 boosters for HorrorClix. It looks damn nifty, and I pulled a Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as well as a Deep One and a Brine Witch. I'm ecstatic about the fish folk.

My months-long search for UA has come to fruition.

I'm playing World of Warcraft, with BC. My City of X account just lapsed, and I'll get it back up as soon as I can get a little money in my special MMORPG account.

Love ya'll. People wanting to know when they're gonna get it, if it's gonna come in in time for Thanksgiving (!), etc.

Got a couple of "where's my stuff" calls, but they were generally very easy.

Welp, tomorrow's another day.
Today was the day my class started taking live calls. I managed to be a helpperson/supervisor/guy you snap your fingers at rather than an on-the-phone associate. This was pretty good for two reasons:

1) The Playstation 3 bundle
2) The Nintendo Wii Bundle

Approximately 800,000 people were sent emails telling them that Walmart.com would have these available today at 12:00PST, and we did. For about 2 minutes (really!).

People were not happy.

However, I got to act like I know what I'm doing and shit. That was nice.

I got Betrayal. They also had Puerto Rico, which I may go back for later. Also some horrorclix, because that's how I roll.

Also, I'ma gonna try my hands at hobby electronics and robotics. I've wanted to build robots since I was six, and now I can. And there's too much else to miss him for.

Tet was a friendly voice, a ready hand with a snarky comeback and a joke. His humor sometimes caused trouble on the boards, but he was a good guy. He was my friend, goddammit.

Fuck.

I was going to write something here, but fuck it.
I've got a little problem.

Being mathematically apt, I have figured out that if I work a 40-hour week, I make $70.00 more as an Assistant Manager than I did as a Driver. Yay. The problem comes in when I realize that I'm buying $20.00 worth of gas pretty much every day I work. That's $100.00 in gas alone. If I get hungry or something, then that's extra.

Now, then. I'm not making tips (yet - possibly), and the District Manager refuses to pay milage "just to go to work." When I was driving, tips took care of all my gas, so my paycheck went to bills & general living. So, I'm actually losing something like $30.00 each week. (all numbers are before taxes) Now, if I make like 3 or 4 hours overtime (not bloody likely; they're packing the store with AMs...), then I might break even.

I'm about ready to tell them to fuck off and go back to driving, if I can. It's bad enough driving almost an hour each way to work, but losing money one the promotion? Fuck that noise.

It's determined by a combination of a lot of factors: lack of dark eye makeup, facial expression, posture, etc. If you scored high on that variable, you are either really nice OR you're into deflowering teens. If you scored low, you are attracted to raunchier, sexier, women. In your case, your lower than average score suggests you appreciate a sexier, naughtier look.
